Client overview
Founded in 1811, The National Society for Education was set up to provide free education to all children through the provision of Church of England and Church in Wales schools. Their vision is to see human flourishing for all.
The need
The National Society for Education, previously identified by multiple different names with multiple sub-brand identities, needed consolidating. We were briefed to refine the brand name and create a fresh visual identity that would communicate the vision of 'human flourishing for all', as well as unify a complex network of brand and sub-brands.
What we did
Through the completion of a thorough brand workshop, we devised a robust and flexible brand architecture fashioned around NSE's four core values. Wisdom, community, hope and dignity unite to form the brand marque, capturing the primary concept of 'flourishing'. The logo marque morphs to create the main NSE and sub brand logos as well as expanding to form a vibrant and changeable graphic device system which is used in the creation of an expansive suite of digital and printed applications.
