Founded in response to the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, Love Your Neighbour has since grown into a collaboration of over 2,500 organisations helping people to overcome pressing social challenges by tackling the root causes of poverty through crisis support, debt advice, employment training and community care.
The need
Love Your Neighbour needed a brand toolkit that would enable them to communicate to volunteers, partner organisations and donors. They also needed their Love Christmas campaign to sit independently of the main brand whilst tying in visually.
What we did
We built a brand that takes its cue from the visual language of lock-down; a time when DIY posters of hope and encouragement took centre-stage in people's living room windows and giant hand painted murals thanking the NHS filled the streets. As designers we aimed to reflect the human, inclusive, flexible nature of their vision. With the brand in place, we went on to build the website and social media templates that the Love Your Neighbour team could utilise and build on. We also work with the team to refresh their illustration suite on an annual basis.
